Ken Dalling

Ken Dalling qualified as solicitor in 1988 and established Dalling Solicitors in 1992. He is responsible for all work undertaken by the firm, appearing in court daily in Stirling and beyond dealing principally with Criminal and Road Traffic cases but also with Civil matters

He is a member of the Council of the Law Society of Scotland and was elected to the Board of the Law Society in June 2017. He has represented Stirling Faculty on the Standing Advisory Committee at Stirling Sheriff Court since 2000 and has been Secretary to the Society of Solicitors and Procurators of Stirling since 2003.

He sits on the Law Society’s Client Protection Fund Committee and Senior Solicitor Advocate Accreditation Committee and has participated in a number of Law Society Working Groups dealing with matters of professional practice.

Harry Couchlin

Harry Couchlin qualified as solicitor in 1982 and joined Dalling Solicitors in 2006. He appears regularly in the civil and criminal courts as well as in Children’s Proceedings related to the Children’s Hearing system.

He is a former member of the Council of the Law Society of Scotland sitting on the Complaints and Practising Certificate Committees as well as assisting the profession with work on changes to civil legal aid.

He is a former Secretary to Ayr Faculty of Solicitors.”

Jay Goodwillie

Jay Goodwillie qualified as a solicitor in 2015 and joined Dalling Solicitors in 2016. She assists with work in the criminal and civil sphere and in Children’s Proceedings as well as dealing with enduring Powers of Attorney.

She was awarded a Batchelor of Science in Forensic Science with Law from Aberdeen in 2008 and during her studies was accepted as a Special Constable with Grampian Police. She subsequently became a Special Constable with Central Scotland Police and joined the Royal Military Police Reserves for a period in 2012. Her Batchelor of Laws degree was awarded by the University of Edinburgh and her Diploma in Legal Practice by the University of Strathclyde.

Miss Goodwillie was elected to the Executive of the Scottish Young Lawyers Association in 2017.
